About Looking Younger - not Older

I don’t want to be Younger - I Just Want to Look it!

You see the ads everywhere promising to turn the clock back for you. However, is that what you really want? Not exactly. Chances are, model Christi Brinkley’s quote from a recent Covergirl ad probably reflects how you really feel – “I don’t want to be younger – I just want to look it.”

Indeed, as I sit down to pen this anti-aging report I’m a little concerned about the terminology to use. If we talk about anti-aging, you may very well end up with a group of anti-aging scientists knocking on your door in hopes of telling you how to live to be 125 years old. If that appeals to you, some of what we talk about in this report will help lay the foundation for a long and healthy life – but to make it the 125 may take a bit of help from those scientists too. (And for some of us it may also take a trip back in time to erase things we did that may have sliced a few years off our lifespan.)

If on the other hand you are simply interested in living within a more normal lifespan range, but you’re also interested in being beautiful, healthy and energetic no matter what your age, this is the report for you. If you’re interested in reducing and in some cases even reversing the signs of aging, this is the report for you. And if you’re primarily interested in doing all of this naturally, this report is definitely for you.

Yes, there are certain surgeries, pills and injections that will help you look younger. A face lift there, a Botox injection here, and sure enough you do look younger.

But the problem is, relying on injections and surgeries and pills does nothing to help with the underlying problem. It’s like putting a putting a new coat of paint on a wooden wall that’s rotting. Sure it looks good for a while, but the paint is only a temporary fix to the larger problem of a wall that’s rotting away and will soon crumble. The paint can only hold it together for so long. The paint can only fool observers for so long into thinking that the wall is new.

The same is true of your body. A face lift or a tummy tuck is temporary. It makes you look good for a while, but it does nothing to slow down the physical process of aging. You see, your body is aging all the time. The problem is that most of us do things that accelerate this aging. If we want to reduce or eliminate the signs of aging, then we need to hit the brakes instead of the accelerator.

So how do we hit the brakes? By taking care of ourselves from the inside out. And that’s what this report is all about. We’re going to start out talking about nutrition, with an emphasis on losing fat. Most of us start to gain weight when we get to be middle aged, and nothing makes you look younger faster than shaving off a few pounds and firming up. Our search for youth begins in your refrigerator!!
